Mrs. Julie Docter

I am so thrilled to be both a parent and a teacher at St. Jude! I am a lifelong westsider and a graduate of Our Lady of Victory and Seton High School. I attended Miami University for my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and received my Master's Degree in Educational Administration from Xavier University. I previously taught 5th grade, 2nd grade, and preschool, and I am excited to be teaching 1st grade. My husband Doug and I have been parishioners of St. Jude since 2014. Our oldest child graduated from St. Jude and is a student at Elder High School, and our other two children both currently attend St. Jude School. Outside of teaching, I love spending time with my family and friends, reading, and taking trips to new places.

A thorough background check is required for all those employed or volunteering to work with youth or vulnerable adults as a cleric, at a parish or school, as an Archdiocesan employee or at an Archdiocesan institution. All volunteers and employees are required to complete the electronic/online background check through SELECTION.com prior to beginning their volunteer activity or employment. In addition to the electronic/online background check, employees are required to complete manual fingerprinting and submit a B4 form before begin- ning their employment at an Archdiocesan parish, school, or institution.
